This estate covers around 150 hectares of land amid the unspoilt vegetation of a small wild valley located near the medieval hilltop hamlet of Montone, a few kilometers from Città di Castello. It holds an isolated position and it is the ideal location for unparalleled relaxing breaks, yet whithin easy reach of the the best tourist destinations in Umbria such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio etc. 
The two 17th century rustic stone-built holiday houses in the Pereto estate, named Stallina (small stable) and Essicatoio (tobacco dryer) after the use they were originally intended to, sleep 4 and 6 respectively. These converted outbuildings are decorated with warm and natural countryside colours and furnished with rustic yet elegant furniture.
They are fully equipped with kitchenware and tableware, including a set of wine tasting glasses, stereo, free internet access, washing machine, dishwasher and independent heating system.
The property also features an open air swimming pool (12 x 5 mt) with automatic salt water system.
The owners of the estate, who live in an adjacent country house, grow officinal plants for the production of essential oils, and the some 3 hectares of land overlooking the houses are completely planted with lavender: a wonderful sight during the summer period with the fields in full bloom!

Montone even among the most beautiful villages in Italy is practically unknown. It 'a small medieval village dating from the tenth century. Stands on a hill overlooking the confluence of the rivers Tiber and Carpina, is a real gem perfectly preserved over the centuries. The village is surrounded and protected by high walls, is articulated in ancient streets and staircases as well as points of interest from which you can see a splendid panorama of the surrounding valley. A Ram was born the famous condottiere Braccio Fortebraccio. Interesting is the visit to the Rocca d'Aries.
