Restored historic home for holidays
At 750 meters above sea level lies the town of Erice, an ancient stone from the top of Mount San Giuliano dominates the entire valley.
Visit Erice means getting lost in a thousand glimpses of streets paved, forts, old churches, convents, shops, gardens and pine forests, then lost, on the edge of town, in the breathtaking views to the islands Egadi, the Lagoon and Saline.
And right next to one of these wonderful views town stands the Palazzo Military, ranked among the buildings of historical importance in the province of Trapani.
Inside the charming courtyard of the '400, which borders the ancient walls of the Carmelite church, the backdrop to a lovely home where we breathe the scent of history and antiquity, and where silence and tranquility.
The house consists of a single entrance from the courtyard, a living room where stands the old fireplace and comfortable sofa (like a bed).
The dining room with antique table and chairs of modern design is independent from the kitchen, always overlooking the courtyard.
Finally the stone arch leads to a convenient hallway where there is a bathroom with a window overlooking the courtyard and large bedroom with a view of the romantic courtyard.
Shows the attention to details of the owners who have restored and furnished the house with the elegance and simplicity in order to maintain the historicity of this magical corner of Erice.
Car parking beside the house.
Of note is the location twenty minutes from the center of Trapani, twenty minutes from the International Airport, Trapani, twenty minutes by ferry to the Egadi (Favignana, Marettimo, Levanzo), half an hour from San Vito Lo Capo ( from which you reach by sea the wonderful Zingaro), forty minutes from Marsala.
Erice is a seaside resort with two sails reported in the Blue Guide of Legambiente
